Socialite Amber Ray has addressed the claims that she was dating singer Brown Mauzo, Vera Sidika's ex-lover.
In an interview with YouTuber Oga Obinna, the socialite clarified that they were never romantically involved.

Amber revealed that their public appearance, which sparked the dating rumours, was purely a business arrangement.

According to the mother of two, the musician wanted to gain publicity and asked her to take a picture with him, but there was no romantic involvement.
She also claimed the musician didn't pay her for taking the photo with her, as he couldn't afford her.
"We never dated. It was purely business. We have never even kissed. That is the truth. That was business. He wanted clout, so he asked me to take a picture. But he didn't pay me. I just helped him," Amber said.
Brown Mauzo and Amber Ray collaborate
Earlier, the socialite and the musician surprised fans by collaborating on a project, shortly after Mauzo announced his breakup with Vera Sidika.
The unexpected partnership was revealed through a poster shared on Amber Ray's Instagram account.
Amber and Mauzo will perform at the event, alongside other celebrities like DJ Peira Makena and DJ Lisney.
She announced an event in Mwea scheduled for September 16.
"Are you even ready my Mwea peeps? 16th is the date. Tupatane @jamiiexecutivegardensmwea …… You can’t afford to miss this one," she wrote.

Previously, the socialite fired shots at Vera, claiming she is a bad-hearted woman.
During a Q&A with her fans on Instagram, when asked why she never mingles with her fellow socialites when they host events together, Amber Ray said:
"Simpendi. I find her fake na roho mbaya. (O don't like her. I find her fake and bad hearted)."
