Bobi Wine Celebrates Son Solomon As He Turns 18: "Welcome To The World Of Men"

Uganda's Opposition politician Bobi Wine is a proud father after his firstborn son attained the age of majority after turning 18.

The National Unity Platform (NUP) leader is married to Barbie Itungo, and together, they have been blessed with four beautiful children.

Solomon Kampala Nyanzi Kyagulanyi is the firstborn of Bobi Wine and Barbie and has two sisters, Shalom Namagembe Kyagulanyi, and Suubi Shine Nakaayi Kyagulanyi, and a brother Shadraq Mbogo Kyagulanyi.

Taking to his Facebook account, Bobi Wine praised his son as an intelligent and disciplined son who he was proud of.

Kampala, a name he got from Uganda's capital city, is towering, and his father conceded that it would be okay for him to stand taller than him now that he had transitioned to adulthood.

"My son, my friend. I am so proud of the man you've grown into. Super intelligent yet so humble and disciplined. May you find favour before the world. May the almighty God be with you, and may the blessings of your forefathers always follow you. Happy 18th birthday son. Welcome to the world of men...now you're allowed to be taller than me," Bobi Wine said.

The young adult was born on August 8, 2005, and has announced his presence in the Ugandan Entertainment industry despite being at a tender age.

He has featured in the 2007 Film, "By Ourselves" and his great sense of fashion saw him bag the Teenz fashion Star category of the 2021 Buzz Teenz Awards.

Kampala's father has consistently dismissed allegations that his son was using substances, forcing him to be chased from school. Instead, he accused the State of working tirelessly to taint his reputation.

In 2020, Bobi Wine was forced to take his children out of the country as political temperatures soared during the General Election.
