Speaking in an interview with Obinna TV, Mo spoke about their marriage and how he met his partner, Size 8. Mo said they were good friends after meeting and became each other's confidants.

"Nilikuwa namtumia credit ya KSh 100 naona nimemake it. I used to encourage her a lot and she would call me anytime she was low," he said.

The father of two said when they met, Size 8 was still a secular artiste and going out on a date was not easy.

"We would drive in our different cars to a place we had planned to meet and park our cars together. She would come into my car, and we talk," he said.

The disc jockey said he used to stay in an apartment worth KSh 6,000 in Githurai, and Size 8, who used to live in South B by that time, used to visit him and jump a big ditch before entering his house.

"She used to come with her sister DJ 7. She would clean utensils, clean clothes, cook for me and ensure the house was clean..." he said.

The father of two remembered how he would take his clothes to South B for Size 8 to clean them for him in her washing machine.

He said despite struggling to make ends meet, he never showed the singer that he was struggling and thanked her for never asking him for money.

"There was a time my house was locked due to rent arrears, and I would come home late and sleep under the stairs and leave very early when no one was seeing me," he recalled.

DJ Mo on marrying Size 8

Mo said Size 8's late mother loved him and played a major role in their relationship.

The former NTV presenter said he visited Size 8's parents and paid dowry in 2014.

"Tulifanya ruracio and gave KSh 150,000."

After their traditional wedding, Mo said Size 8, then publicly announced that she was born again and released her Mateke song.

Later, they moved in together in a two-bedroom house in Thindigua.

The couple has admitted that their marriage is not perfect, and Mo talked about one-time Size 8 left their matrimonial home for two months, but later returned.

DJ Mo and Size 8 will be celebrating their 10th anniversary in September, and Mo revealed they would have been parents to four kids but lost two.

Recently, TUKO.co.ke reported that Mo penned a beautiful message to his wife, Size 8, as she turned a new year.

The father of two shared a beautiful photo of her in a black leather hat, white top, and signature sunglasses to accompany his beautiful birthday message.

Part of what he wrote read:

"Happy birthday to my woman, my queen, my wifey, and the amazing mother of my kids. You're my special gift from God. I enjoy doing life with you. You're simply the best baby. I Celebrate you, I appreciate you, and I love you. Check your M-Pesa."

The musician-turned-pastor and her hubby have been very vocal and open about their marriage and shared very private issues to encourage others seeking to get married.
