Why did Oketch attack his superior

The two are alleged to have differed over a person who had been arrested but later released under unclear circumstances.

Kimutai allegedly visited Oketch’s residence to get answers regarding an individual who had mysteriously disappeared from the holding cells after his arrest on Saturday, August 26, 2023.

Instead of responding to the questions, Oketch reportedly reached out for a panga, intending to cut his superior.

However, a quick defensive reflex from Kimutai came to his aid as he shielded his head, leaving him with a deep cut to his palm.

Koech was rushed to Pala Health Centre, where he received medical attention and was discharged.
