Kabete Family In Agony After Businessman Who Left Kampala For Nairobi Goes Missing: "Hatuelewi"

A family from Kabete in Kiambu county is baffled after their son and brother, who was hale and hearty only two weeks ago, has been declared missing.

Ali is a clothes vendor

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, his sister Sarah Hassan said Ali is a businessman who operates from South Sudan, and he was slated to visit Nairobi.

"He sells clothes and normally drives a truck. He drove from South Sudan to Kampala and then, later on, started the journey to Nairobi. That's where the trail goes cold, and we don't understand if he even left Kampala or reached Nairobi and then went missing," she said.

The family has since reported the matter to the police and, in a desperate move, also to social media for help. So far, they have not heard about his whereabouts

They are still appealing to public members to be on the lookout and report to the nearest police station in case of any information.

Boy who had disappeared found after TUKO.co.ke story

In July 2023, the family of 14-year-old Telvis Maina was reunited with him.

The teen had gone missing for three days after spending Saturday with friends in Nanyuki, leaving his family in agony.

TUKO.co.ke learnt Telvis was rescued by a boda boda rider who found him stranded in town, after which he reached out to the mother when the story aired.

Njoki added that she spoke to the kind rider who hosted him but wanted the youngster taken to the hospital for a check-up.

She also thanked members of the public for spreading the message and offering words of comfort during the difficult period.
