The cop, going by Leshao Naserian, posted a video wearing a police uniform.

She completed the look with black, well-polished shoes and a green hat.

Leshao danced to a Maasai song while rhythmically shaking her neck in the traditional fashion. The officer was in a deserted area, indicating she was deployed upcountry.

Why cop's TikTok video irked seniors

In other news, National Police Service(NPS) condemned a video of a supposed 'police officer' criticising Internal Security CS Kithure Kindiki.

The officer was interacting with viewers on live TikTok and reading their comments. The 'officer' expressed that the country's high cost of living could only be addressed through national dialogue.

The situation escalated when he used derogatory language to criticise Kindiki, telling him to "go away."

NPS clarified that the officer's behaviour was unacceptable and that appropriate disciplinary action would be taken.

"The remarks are regrettable and stand condemned in the strongest terms possible, even as we embark on an internal review with a view of preferring appropriate disciplinary action," read the statement in part.
