A teacher and TikTok content creator has amused Kenyans after he was spotted cheekily swinging on a metallic door as he poked fun at those working while teachers are on holiday.

In a video that has gone viral, the playful teacher let the child in him win as he portrayed how young children enjoy playing when schools are closed.

Karenge told off those who opted not to pursue teaching courses, stating that teachers enjoy three holidays in a year.

"Mwalimu ako holiday, zoom, zoom. Mlikataa kufanya teaching, tuko na holiday tatu per year. Zoom, (Teachers are on holiday. You declined teaching courses yet we have three school holidays in a year)," he said.

The video shared on the teacher's TikTok account (@_mungaikarenge) took social media by storm.

Teacher entertains pupils on closing day

Karenge shared light moment with his pupils in class as the school was closing for the school holidays.

Karenge challenged one of his pupils to a dance challenge as they attended school for the last time of the term.

Standing in front of his class with a microphone in his left hand, and asked his pupils who won the dance off.

"Nani mnoma? Nani anaweza? (Who is the best?)," he asked his elated pupils.
