Diversifying sources of income

"It is true that content is king, but we should also know that things can change in an instant. Andrew Kibe’s current situation is the perfect example of why you should have a side hustle or something else going on for you on the side," said @dollar_furniture_ke.

Adding:

"There is always the risk of losing your YouTube channel or social media accounts, but having a business on the side is a good way to make sure you stay afloat in case of anything."

Speaking to TUKO.coke, the Dollar furniture entrepreneur said:

“When money is coming in well it is hard to look at the future, but investing is a must. It does not have to be a huge investment. Something to give you money quietly on the side is enough. One of the best forms of investment is a business or real estate. That’s what I’d take on if I was an artiste today. A business especially can be good since you can use your online platforms to market it.”

its_wachira said:

"I think you should make Kibe your brand ambassador for sometime. In a show of support."

Andrew Kibe YouTube pulled down

Content creator Andrew Kibe suffered a huge loss after his YouTube channel was terminated.

Kibe had in 2020 quit his radio job and relocated to the US before starting the now-defunct successful YouTube channel.

The former radio presenter had heavily invested in the channel by posting over 3,000 videos.

Kibe did not directly address the termination via Twitter but hinted that he was unbowed.

"Train ili toka stenje kitambo, hizi ni kelele za chura (the train already left the station). Time ya LIVE ni ile ile aisay (we’ll go live as usual)," Kibe wrote.

Netizens empathise with Andrew Kibe

The news of the popular channel being shut down saw netizens' troop to show their support for the content creator known for his no-holds-barred online lectures.

Others, however, rejoiced.

@CarlPetersMax:

“People who become witches in old age show signs when young. Jealous, celebrate failures of others, wish others evil.”

@Kaysparks_:

“If you find a man celebrating his fellow man’s downfall, there’s something serious and awkward within themselves!"
