Socialite Shakilla is making headlines for sharing her opinions on relationships and dating preferences.

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, the young lady, known for her extravagant lifestyle, revealed that she only dates wealthy men who can effortlessly sustain her lavish lifestyle.

Shakilla said that she was not looking for wealthy men, but they were looking for him.

"I'm not looking for wealthy men. Rich men are looking for me," she confidently stated.

Remarkably, Shakilla spoke during the exclusive launch of the Medigah London Hair (MLH) app on Thursday, August 24, at the Social House in Lavington.

It is important to note that she is the face of the new online hair and beauty products.

Barbara Medigah and Cedrick Tandong are the cofounders of the MLH.

This lavish black tie-themed event attracted several celebrities including Bensoul, Maureen Waititu, Milly and Kabi wa Jesus, Sandra Mbuvi, Sanaipei Tande, Nimo Gachuiri, Chebet Ronoh, Patricia Kihoro, Pinky Ghelani, among others.

Why is Shakilla so special?

The socialite explained that she expects a lot of upkeep money from her boyfriend to support her lifestyle.

She revealed that she expects a whopping sum of $400 (about KSh 60,000) from her partners for daily upkeep.

She clarified that this amount is separate from any considerations related to transportation or other services.

"I expect $400 (KSh 60,000 from a man. That is just for my upkeep. I'm not talking about him coming and driving me around. I need to have KSh 60,000 just to do something," Shakilla said.

Why does Shakilla love Nigerian men?

Earlier, Shakilla said she would never date a Kenyan man and why she prefers Nigerians.

According to Shakilla, she disliked Kenyan men and listed some of the reasons why.

“There are many reasons why, and I start listing them, I won’t finish. First, Nigerians are romantic.”

Shakilla then accused Kenyan men of being stingy.

“A Kenyan man can never give you money. They would rather pay for something. They also don’t look good.”

She also praised Nigerians’ bedroom prowess, saying:

“Kenyan guys don’t last in bed. They take minutes while I am talking about hours for Nigerian.”

Shakilla also noted that Kenyan men's marital status had a part to play.

“Most of them are married, so you must hide them."
