Jesus Compassion Ministries International founder Pastor Muthee Kiengei has penned a thought-provoking message to Christians around the world.

Muthee's advice to Christians stirs debate

Kiengei urged believers to reconsider the practice of showering their pastors with gifts and monetary offerings as a means to demonstrate their holiness.

Instead, in the message penned on his Facebook page, he advocated for a more personal and private approach to repentance.

"Stop visiting your Pastor's homes with shopping and monetary gifts for them to see you as a holy person... Sit in your bedroom and repent your sins in secrecy," read the message.

He further argued that Jesus did not please people through human and flesh but through accepting sincere repentance.x

"Jesus Christ is never pleased through human and flesh. He accepts a sincere tear of repentance... A new Grace is received when you accept His conditions," he said.

Earlier, the Jesus Compassion Ministries International founder could not calm down as it was his wife's birthday.

A charming Kiengei took to his Facebook page to praise his wife, Joycelyne Ngaru and told her how much she meant to him on her special day.

"Happy happy birthday, queen...a new day, a new year added into your life, an advantage to us; how we pray that you hit a hundred plus for us, Mama Arsene and June," he said.
"You have been the source of our happiness, peace and prosperity, our guide and disciplinarian. Whenever we need hope, confidence and encouragement, you are there for us. We love you, we cherish you. Happy Happy birthday, my wife," he continued.
