Comedian Kendrick Mulamwah has announced his departure from Milele FM after serving as a host for an eventful one year and three months.

The decision comes as a surprise to many of his fans.

Mulamwah took to social media to share a heartfelt statement, shedding light on the reasons behind his departure.

Disagreement over contract terms

He revealed that his decision was primarily due to disagreements on certain aspects of his contract and concerns about his working conditions.

Acknowledging the impact of his time at the station, Mulamwah expressed his gratitude to Mediamax for the opportunity to join their team.

He also appreciated his colleagues who supported him during his tenure, making his experience more memorable and enjoyable.

Mulamwah's message to fans after quitting Milele FM

The funnyman sent his fans a warm thank you for their unwavering support throughout his journey at Milele FM.

He assured them that while this chapter may be closing, it will not mark the end of their connection.

"I have officially quit Milele FM after one year and three months of service. We couldn't agree on some aspects of the contract and some scope of work, hence calling it quits.
Thank you to Mediamax for the opportunity and also a big thank you to the colleagues who have been very supportive. To my fans, thanks a lot. We will still meet on many other platforms and forums. Has been nice. I learnt a lot," Mulamwah wrote.

Mulamwah building KSh 4.8m 5-bedroom house

Separately, Mulamwah opened up on the majestic home he is building upcountry in Kitale, Trans Nzoia county.

The comedian shared images of the two-storey mansion showing his impressive progress.

In a follow-up Q and A session, Kenyans sought to find out about the cost of construction and the size of the house he was building.

"How many bedrooms is your house?" One Kenyan asked.

Mulamwah disclosed that the house would have five bedrooms, among other facilities.

He also shared an artist's impression of the majestic building. Another fan asked Mulawmah how much he spent on the construction.

Mulamwah posted a screenshot of a calculator indicating he had splurged KSh 4.8 million while complaining about the high construction cost in Kenya.
