Voi Family In Agony As 10-Year-Old Son Goes Missing Near Tsavo East National Park

A family from Birikani village in Voi is in agony after their 10-year-old son disappeared near Tsavo East National Park on July 25, around 5 pm.

The young boy is believed to have wandered into the vast wilderness, sparking days of desperate searching by his distraught family and the local community.

Despite filing a report at the Voi police station on the day of the incident, the family claims to have received no assistance.

They also sought the help of Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) for air surveillance, but the support is yet to materialize, leaving the family in distress.

In response to the urgent situation, members of the local community have joined forces with rangers from Tsavo East National Park to comb the area tirelessly in search of the missing child.

However, as the days pass, the family's hope and anxiety continue to grow.

Mwajuma Swaleh, the child's grandmother, made an emotional plea to security agencies, urging them to intervene and assist in finding the young boy.

The boy was last seen wearing a blue shirt and green pants.

Susan Mwanjala, the Voi community policing chair lady, called upon the authorities to lend their expertise and resources to expedite the search for the missing child.

The family and community are urging anyone with information that could aid in locating the boy to come forward and report to the authorities immediately.
