Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka's son, Kevin Muasya, has tied the knot with his longtime partner Sharon Nthoki at a colourful traditional wedding.

The invite-only ceremony attracted dignitaries, including Azimio leader Raila Odinga, Kalonzo, Wavinya Ndeti, Mutula Kilonzo Junior, Jeremiah Kioni and Eugine Wamalwa.

Sharing photos from the event, Raila wrote:

"A happy afternoon in Machakos county at the traditional wedding of Hon. Sharon Nthoki and Kelvin Muasya, son to my brother @skmusyoka in Maanzoni. Congrats to the couple; may bliss accompany them in this journey together."

2. Green outfits

Guests donned their favourite outfits to the event but the newly-weds wore matching outfits for their big day.

Muasya wore an emerald green African suit, while the love of his life wore a fashionable suit dominated by the same colour.

The ceremony was cheerful with everyone feeling the urge to dance and smile. The couple showed their best dance moves in front of their guests.

4. Kalonzo blesses the couple

As a proud father, the Wiper Party leader expressed excitement and blessed his son and his lover for the achievement.

Being a traditional wedding, all the cultural practices were observed. The bride delightfully served the groom milk in a calabash, a symbol of giving her energy.
