The family of Anthony Njomo has revealed he was expecting his second child with his wife, Rose.

What happened to Anthony Njomo at Qukin Lounge?

On Saturday, May 25, Anthony Njomo was allegedly shot dead outside Qukin Sports Lounge in Kiambu county.

A report filed at Kiambu Police Station indicated there was a commotion between a group of revellers before one discharged his firearm.

Qukin Sports Lounge confirmed the tragic incident, pointing out that the 35-year-old was not part of the group that had an altercation.

Anthony Njomo's wife's baby shower

According to Njomo's cousin, Martoh Muriithi, he was set to welcome another child with his wife soon, but his life was cut short.

"It's with great sadness and quite a shock that I share the news of our cousin's tragic passing. Earlier today at 3 am, Antony Njomo was shot dead outside Qukin Sports Bar in Kiambu. Anthony leaves behind a young son and an unborn baby who is soon to enter this world. Cuz, you have left us so fast; I am still in disbelief and don't know how to grieve you. Lala salama, Bro," Muriithi wrote.

A lady identified as Moon Isle revealed they were planning a baby shower for Njomo's wife ahead of delivery.

"Today is a sad day ....we were planning for Rose baby shower...and now you are gone.. Thanks for being a big brother to Sylvia and I back in high school... rest easy Anto...✌️" she wrote.

Anthony Njomo's alleged killer arrested

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations arrested the main suspect linked to the murder of the American Embassy employee in Kiambu.

Detectives probing the case indicated that Njomo died after being shot in the back during a commotion that began inside the bar and spread outside.

Citizen Digital reported that the main suspect behind the shooting has been positively identified.

Nason Kiteme, 28, a Comfort Homes branding manager, was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting.
