The family of the late TikToker Kevin Oselu, known as Baba Mona, held a ceremony to commemorate his first death anniversary.

Kevin, a popular content creator on TikTok, tragically lost his life in a road crash on the evening of Friday, February 24, 2023, together with his two sisters and daughter.

The accident occurred when the black saloon car they were travelling in veered off the road and rolled multiple times near the Kipkelion coffee mill in Koru.

Baba Mona's 1st death anniversary

During the solemn occasion of his first death anniversary, Kevin's mother delivered an emotional speech.

She expressed her disappointment at the spread of false information and accusations against her.

Some individuals had accused her of sacrificing her three children and grandchild.

In response, the grieving mother urged people to refrain from making such hurtful statements when faced with tragedy.

She vehemently denied the claims of sacrificing her beloved children, emphasising that she was a devout Legio Maria member and had no interest in pursuing wealth.

She also addressed rumours linking her to secret societies like the Illuminati, asserting that she had never been a member and had never considered consulting a witch doctor.

"How can I sacrifice my own children (Kevin, Belinda, Conny and Mona)? Why would I be looking for wealth at this age? I'm not looking for wealth. Some are even accusing me of being a member of the Illuminati, yet they still come here and eat. I have never been a member of Illuminati. I have never even thought of visiting a witch doctor," she emotionally said in a TikTok video shared by Winfred Jaber.

TikTokers treat Baba Mona's parents to vacation

In September 2023, TikTokers came through for Baba Mona's parents and treated them to a splash vacation.

In a video shared by @dawn_grey on TikTok, the parents of the deceased TikToker were captured enjoying different activities.

Baba Mona's mum was captured enjoying an intense spa date where her hands and feet were being rubbed before being given a makeover.
