Esther Njeri, the grandmother of deceased TikToker Brian Chira, has approached the authorities to demand what she calls justice.

Accompanied by TikToker Obidan Della, Njeri visited the Ruaka police station on Monday, May 13.

They sought to have the investigative officers take up Chira’s case and delve into the true cause of his demise.

Was Brian Chira's death accidental?

Although it is widely held that Chira was the victim of a hit-and-run incident in Kiambu county, his grandmother harbours doubts about this narrative.

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Obidan revealed that Njeri has been restless amid speculations that Chira may have been coerced to the location of his death by unidentified individuals.

Obidan emphasised Njeri’s call for an open and thorough inquiry to bring them closure.

"We went to the police station to seek justice. I am just trying to help her because of the good relationship I had with Brian Chira. She wants to know the truth because there are so many loopholes in the story. Those who were with him before the accident never came out to share the story. We don't even know whether he was pushed to the road by someone. So his grandmother has not been at peace and that is why she decided to take the move. We will accept the results after thorough investigations," Obidan told TUKO.co.ke.

Obidan responds to claims he's dating Chira's granny

As we previously reported, Obidan and Njeri took to a TikTok livestream to address her fallout with Baba Talisha.

The live session went viral, and some netizens suggested that Obidan and Chira's granny might be romantically involved.

However, Obidan refuted the claims, stating he only wanted to help her.

Why did Chira's granny cut TikTok livestream short?

In other news, amidst Baba T spearheading the late TikToker's fundraiser in March and acting as a medium between the family and the public, Chira's grandmother revealed that her grandsons needed help.

She said they needed sponsors for their studies and revealed they were orphans.

Ian, one of Chira's cousins, is in high school. Unknown to the public, his alleged dad has been sponsoring his education.

The dad got on a TikTok livestream with Baba T and expressed his concerns about the alleged lies surrounding his family.

A lady questioned Chira's grandmother about the matter during a different TikTok livestream, and Njeri angrily responded to her before she ended the livestream.
