Husband In Tears After Female Shopper Embarrases Him While Buying Wife's Sanitary Pads

A local man’s act of kindness became a public spectacle when he was wrongly accused of inappropriate behaviour.

The man reported that he was reduced to tears after being confronted by a female shopper who misinterpreted his actions as he attempted to buy sanitary pads for his wife.

Female shopped didn't want to listen

According to The Mirror, the man video-called his wife to assist in selecting the right product, unaware it would get him into trouble.

“About 30 seconds later, a woman came up to me and told me I was being inappropriate and she was going to report me. Mind you my wife is on video with me this entire time," he started.

The situation moved from bad to worse when the shopper insisted on calling the police, accusing the man of being a pervert.

Despite his attempts to explain the situation to the store manager and a clerk who came over following the complaint, the shopper escalated the situation.

“The woman then starts shouting that I was taking pictures of her and I was lying,” he continued. “I showed the manager the texts from my wife and I told him I just wanted to get my wife her pads and leave."

Incident scarred the husband

After reviewing the text messages between the man and his wife, the store manager did not take any further action, and a sales assistant eventually helped the man find the product.

The man completed his purchase and left the store, only to break down emotionally in his car, overwhelmed by the humiliation he had experienced.

"I have never felt more embarrassed and humiliated in my life. When I told my wife what happened she went pale and hasn’t stopped apologising,” he disclosed.

Whereas the man’s wife expressed deep regret over the incident, he disclosed that it had left an indelible mark on the couple’s lives.

In an unrelated story, a heartbroken lady returned to a man she turned down and got the embarrassment and shock of her life.

Details indicated that the man had declared an interest in dating her over a year ago, but she declined, so he let it go.

The lady criticised him for giving up on her quickly, saying she had wanted him to try harder to see his seriousness as she confessed her feelings for him.
