Former Zora actress Jackie Matubia's best friend, Muma Pix, has opened up about his craft as a photographer and working with celebrities.

In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, the photographer shared that he also enjoys working with corporations outside the celebrity work.

Why Muma Pix isn't close with Matubia's ex

Muma has been in the photography for years, and he noted that the biggest challenge was getting the capital to start his craft.

"When I was starting out, there were not so many people who were open to sharing the knowledge, so you would find that you would rely on experience, probably YouTube," he said.

Muma also noted his contributions to supporting his friend Matubia, who recently launched her first web series, Toxic.

He is widely known for working with celebrities, especially women, and they tend to create content that sometimes raises questions.

When asked how he balances his professional stance and building networks with his clientele, he said:

"This is what I do; it's a profession; you cannot mess around where you get your money. No matter the circumstances, at the end of the day, it is what I do professionally. As long as we achieve what we want to achieve, and I am getting paid."

Muma and Matubia once went viral after a video emerged of him spanking the actress just weeks after she parted ways with Blessing Lung'aho.

He also shared that he is not in a relationship and does not intend to get into anything because it is all work.

"Me and Jackie are friends, we enjoy what we do, and we only shoot when we feel like shooting. Me and Blessing are not as close as we used to be, you know he is doing his own things, but it is not like there is any bad blood between us, whatever happened between them, is not my business," he further said.

Matubia creates bedroom content with Muma

The former Tahidi High actress once confused fans after creating bedroom content with her best friend.

In the video, Muma pushed the former Zora actress away, complaining that his hand was painful after she slept on it for a long time.

The video sparked dating rumours that made many netizens wonder if he was the one who replaced Lung'aho.
