Nollywood Actor Junior Pope's Wife, Kids Burst Into Tears During Funeral Service

A video has emerged showing the wife of renowned Nollywood actor John Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope and their kids crying during his funeral service.

Pope and four others tragically passed away on April 10 when their boat capsized on the Anam River in Anambra State. They were returning from a movie location when the accident occurred.

Inside Junior Pope's funeral service

During the funeral service attended by family, friends and Nollywood icons, the wife of the deceased sat with their three small kids.

One of them could be seen wailing as his mum and family around them tried to pat him on the back and calm him down.

His wife, dressed in an all-black outfit and sunglasses, was also seen wiping tears from her face as cameras focused on her.

Video of Pope warning boat rider emerges

Hours after his death emerged, a video shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday, April 10, went viral, showing Pope warning the boat rider to reduce his speed.

He added that he was his parents' only child and that he had three children he was taking care of.

The role interpreter, from a movie location without a life jacket, noted that he wished to take care of his children.
