Comedienne Jacky Vike has opened up about her experience as a first-time mother, sharing the ups and downs.

How was motherhood for Jacky Vike?

The doting mother, like many first-time mothers, said she experienced several challenges after giving birth.

Jacky, who impressed netizens with impeccable Kikuyu speech, noted being accustomed to the new title of 'a mother' was not a walk in the park.

"Of course, the first time was very confusing; it was different. It is different from taking care of your brother's kids. It is different from your child because the baby comes from you. It was very confusing. You know, the baby is crying, you are breastfeeding, a lot was going on," she told SPM Buzz during an interview.

The talented actress, however, noted that it got better as she learned, through experience, how to navigate motherhood.

Jacky, who in a cute video showed a glimpse of her neat home in Vihiga, said she learned more about being a mother and fell in love with the role.

"Being a mother is my best role, and I would not want to have it in any other way. I would not change anything or wish it different," she said.

How does Jacky Vike balance motherhood, career?

The content creator also noted that balancing motherhood and her career was not easy but was bearable, thanks to her colleagues, who understood her situation.

"Having the right people around you is important. I also had some mothers who helped me navigate motherhood," she said.
