Lang'ata Member of Parliament (MP) Felix Odiwour, popularly known as Jalang'o, disclosed fascinating insights into his encounters with President William Ruto and Opposition Leader Raila Odinga.

Jalang'o has been frequently seen with the two leaders in different situations on numerous occasions.

What is Jalango's experience with Ruto?

During an interview with Radio Jambo, Jalang'o disclosed that William Ruto is a devout Christian, emphasizing Ruto's commitment to prioritizing God in all aspects of his life.

" He also loves tea. When you sit with him in the evening, especially when we travel outside the county, for instance, at Kisumu State House, he has a bonfire set up, and all we do is drink tea," he said.

He further mentioned occasions where he fabricated excuses to depart from the president's company and engage in activities that he said were more fun and captivating.

"There are times I would lie to him by saying that I have an emergency so I could step out in pursuit of fun," he said.

He also expressed challenges in consuming alcoholic beverages while in the president's presence, noting the president's preference for tea during their interactions.

What is Jalango's experience with Raila?

The MP conveyed delight while discussing his interactions with Raila. He described Raila as an exceptionally nice individual, highlighting his incomprehensible levels of humility.

" He's a very forgiving person and doesn't harbour any grudges against others. After work, me and Baba have lots of fun," he said.

Jalang'o affirmed that being in Raila's company is a highly enjoyable experience, emphasizing the consistent enjoyment he finds in his presence.

Ruto declares war against illicit brew

Earlier, Ruto warned that his administration would not allow traders who deal with illicit brews to operate in the country.

Speaking in Kericho County on Thursday, March 14, the president said his administration agreed to deal decisively with the issue of illicit alcohol.

The head of state contended that imported alcohol and spirits have had a detrimental impact on the lives of numerous young individuals in the country, advocating for an immediate cessation of such activities.
