Jeridah Andayi Upset After Form One Daughter Says She Lost School Shoes While Swimming In Alliance

Media personality Jeridah Andayi has expressed her frustration at her Form One daughter studying at Alliance Girls High School.

Radio presenter Andayi was preparing to leave the house when she mentioned a conversation she had with her daughter, Norah Zawadi.

She asked her why Norah had not submitted a list of the items she needed as she returned to school for the second term.

Norah defended herself, saying she had been asked for it the previous night and did not have time to write down the items.

"You were on the phone when I asked you for it. Norah, it is not about the time. Have you given me or not?" Andayi angrily asked.

Andayi argued she had been asking for the list since her daughter returned home from school for the holidays, but Norah said her mum had asked for it the previous night.

She then disclosed she wanted a fleece and new school shoes because her peers made fun of the ones she had.

"You need what? Norah, how do you misplace or lose your shoes when they are on your feet?" Andayi asked, looking shocked.

A scared Norah, who had previously said they were not lost but did not like their shape, said they got lost when she was swimming.

Andayi could not believe her daughter had lost "the biggest uniform item, " the fleece and shoes she had joined the school in.

"If you want to return to school, send me the list. If not, you can also leave it. You are not learning for me but for yourself. Don't get me started," the upset Andayi said as Norah looked scared.

Millicent Amollo told TUKO.co.ke that her son usually waited till the last minute to submit his list of school items he needed before school reopened.

"This time, I was tough on him. Just days after he arrived home, I told him to write the list and give to me so that me and his father can plan early. It also helps so that if he forgets anything else at least we can try to get the item(s) before it is too late," she said.

Andayi advises Joyce Gituro's son Jakes

Elsewhere, Andayi urged her best friend Joyce Gituro's son, Jakes, to live his best life.

In a viral video, Andayi offered the boy a few unusual words of wisdom as his mother listened in disbelief.

Meanwhile, Gituro insisted that if Jakes took Jeridah's ridiculous advice, he might as well move out.
