Celebrated actress Kate Actress has revealed that she will attend a prestigious state dinner at the White House.

Kate will be joining President William Ruto and filmmaker Eddie Butita in a historic US tour marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kenya and the United States.

On May 19, Eddie Butita shared his excitement about joining President Ruto on this significant visit.

"I am leaving for the USA today. Thank you, William Samoei Ruto, for choosing me to accompany you to the United States Of America State Visit hosted by the USA President, His Excellency President Joe Biden. The fact that I'm part of the head of the state delegation is a clear sign, and we are happy that the creative industry is part of the conversations we are going to have during this trip," he wrote on Facebook.

Kate took to Instagram to share her joy about being part of the delegation.

She thanked US Ambassador Meg Whitman for inviting her.

Kate, Butita, and President Ruto will also attend a luncheon at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. President Ruto had previously mentioned his intention to discuss ways to unlock Kenya’s film potential with Tyler Perry.
