A Kenyan woman who scored a D minus in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) has celebrated after landing a new job abroad.
The lovely young lady, identified as Royalty Empress, narrated how flying out of the country to start her new job was not a mean feat as he is the first person from her family to travel abroad.

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Royalty narrated how, after scoring a D minus in KCSE, she began working as a househelp.

Luckily for her, she worked under a good boss who encouraged her to apply for online jobs.
She is celebrating this because despite lacking any support, she believed in herself, pursued her dreams and has finally made it.
"Hard work and belief in oneself really pay. I decided to believe that I could make it, and I did despite not having any background support.
"I was working as a house help and had a good boss who helped me in applying for online jobs abroad. I applied for au pairs and cruise ship jobs, and I finally landed one," she stated.
According to Royalty, those seeking to move to Europe or other parts of the world should not give up.
"This is especially true for those who did not prosper in academics; there are opportunities beyond Kenya which do not necessarily need books or degrees. People should try out their luck out here," she said.
She initially shared news of her new job on TikTok and revealed that when she scored a D minus, some of her loved ones thought she did not have any future.
"But I am the first to travel abroad," she said in her clip which has gained traction on the platform.
Lady lands job in United Kingdom
In other news, a lady revealed that she finally got a job after relocating to the UK three months ago.
The woman posted a video on social media to celebrate her achievement and inspire others looking to travel abroad.
She revealed that she was hired at a private insurance company in the UK, and the nature of the job is hybrid, meaning she could work from home.
