Mamake Tiffany Waihuini said:

"Watu wakona pesa."

Julie Kelly Kagiri noted:

What's the rate of employment in Kenya

This came as Kenyans continued to struggle with the rising cost of living coupled with an increased rate of unemployment.

A financial survey released in April 2024 showed that the number of unemployed Kenyans is increasing, especially women, more than men.

The report conducted by Tala Kenya showed that there are only 36% of women in business compared to men.
