Kenyans were both amused and amazed by the survival skills of a woman who escaped a matatu that had been involved in an accident and had its doorway blocked by a car.

Courageous woman jumps from matatu

The lady, who desperately wanted to get out first, put her head out to assess the damage and her way out of it.

In a video shared by @muungwana_wathikaroad, the courageous woman first let her leg out, stepped on the car that had trapped them in, jumped out and just walked away.

A friend was holding her bag; she took it and the two walked away like nothing had happened.

South African accident survivor fails to remember scene

In another story, Lorraine Atlang Siako, an eight-year-old girl who survived a catastrophic road accident in South Africa's Easter holiday tragedy, finally left the hospital but couldn't remember anything.

Despite showing remarkable signs of recovery, Lorraine was unable to recall the horrifying scene of the accident that claimed the lives of 45 individuals.

Accompanied by medical caregivers, government officials, and members of the media, Lorraine was seen off as she departed from South Africa.
