Kenyans have taken to social media to hail Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Francis Ogolla for his parental skills evident after he died in a helicopter crash.

Who are Francis Ogolla's children?

The general, laid to rest on Sunday, April 21, was praised for being a great father to his two children Joel Rabuku and Lorna Omondi.

Rabuku and Lorna greatly supported their mother, Aileen Kathambi Ogolla, during the CDF's burial, demonstrating the values they received from their father.

In one photo, they sandwiched their mother between them as they held her hands and walked.

"God help us raise responsible kids. My take home this weekend is this amazing family
So sorry for the loss of their dad. I have learnt so much from them. Poleni sana ," Milly Chebby shared.

On another page, the kids' gesture to their grieving mother impressed a man, who hailed them for being strong.

"The presence and influence of the father figure in the family. He taught them to remain strong and have faith. They are strong even after losing their dad," he said.

She noted that her father was a purser of excellence who taught with his actions rather than words.

She also shared a throwback photo of her father in the presence of President William Ruto and King Charles III.
