Kisumu - Residents of an apartment in Lolwe estate were left in disbelief after a tragic incident resulting in the death of a 22-year-old woman.

What caused death of the Kisumu woman?

Kisumu Central sub-county police chief, Peter Mulai, reported that the young woman was allegedly pushed from the balcony of a two-story building by a 30-year-old man following a heated argument.

As reported by Citizen Digital, neighbours revealed that the victim had confronted the man after discovering him with another woman in his home.

According to them, the man was apparently in a relationship with the woman, whom the police identified as 25 years old.

Kisumu police arrests murder suspects

The shocked neighbours stated that upon realising the severity of his actions, the suspect brought the victim to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

The man and his suspected girlfriend were arrested in connection with the murder of the woman.

Mulai assured that the police have initiated an investigation into the incident and will prosecute the suspects once the investigation is concluded.

Homa Bay boda boda rider killed by robbers

Elsewhere, a Homa Bay man was killed by armed robbers following a fundraiser to purchase a new motorbike after his old one was stolen in a previous robbery incident.

The robbers raided the man's house, attacked him and left him unconscious. His wife was also assaulted.

According to the area's local administrator, the thugs were targeting the man's money from the fundraiser. The robbers also escaped with his motorbike and two mobile phones.
