Lady Prepares Feast For 'Boyfriend', Discovers It's For His Engagement Party To Other Lover

• Marie said her lover asked her to cook him a feast, saying he wanted to eat the meals over two weeks
• However, she later realised found out the meals were meant for his engagement party with his girlfriend

A lady has narrated her experience with a former lover that left her heartbroken.

What did the lady's lover do to her?

In a video shared on her TikTok, the lady, whose handle is @marie_martinaa, recalled the incident that she regrets to date.

The lady said her ex asked her to go to his house and prepare him an elaborate feast.

His explanation seemed reasonable: he wanted to stock up on food for the next two weeks, ensuring he wouldn’t have to cook amidst his increasingly demanding work schedule.

"He told me, 'come to my house, I want you to cook a buffet for me'...he told me he wants to eat that food for a whole two weeks so that even when he goes to work and comes back, he doesn't have to cook because sometimes he gets tired and his work schedule is starting to become very tight," she narrated.

As the loving girlfriend she was, she consented.

She spent the entire day cooking, and when she was finally done in the evening, the man insisted that she had to leave even though it was raining.

"I went there at nine and finished cooking at six in the evening....I said to myself, let me just push through, there's nothing wrong with a man's work," Marie said.

Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. The lady went out and could not find a bike to take her home. When she finally found one, the rider ended up mugging her.

She decided to return to her lover's house for help.

What happened when Marie returned to her lover's house?

However, when Marie got to his house, she was surprised to see several cars in the parking lot and shoes at the door.

Further, she found several people inside the house in the middle of what appeared to be a party.

She was pained as she realised her 'boyfriend' had organised a party to propose to his girlfriend and that all the meals she had prepared were meant for them.

"It turns out he had me cook food for his girlfriend's party. He was proposing to his girlfriend using the food that I worked so hard to cook... and the way I got flour all over myself, my fingers hurt, my chest was tired... I was shocked. He wasn't shocked, and his friends pretended like there was nothing weird." Marie recalled.

As she was still trying to make sense of the situation, Marie's 'lover' went down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend as she watched, heartbroken.

"He knelt down for this girl and proposed to her right in front of me, and the way I had worked so hard to win his affection," she concluded, painfully recalling the moment.

Marie concluded the video by urging women not to do wifely duties for their lovers to avoid disappointment.

Senjee Comedy recalls cutting long dreadlocks for lover

Elsewhere, Comedienne Senjee, or Senjee Comedy as she is popularly known, narrated how she cut her long dreadlocks to please her former boyfriend.

In an interview with Oga Obinna, the comic disclosed that her then-boyfriend was a DJ and fitness instructor.

According to Senjee, her lover had always wanted dreadlocks but found it hard to grow them due to his hair's silky and curly texture.
