Renowned CNN journalist Larry Madowo has been impressed by a Kenyan woman in the United Kingdom who has taken the African experience to the foreign country through food.

Elizabeth Ndung'u, who runs her fancy restaurant in Glasgow, Scotland, sells all types of food popular in Africa to her customers, who are mainly Africans abroad.

In a video shared by Larry, Ndung'u said her restaurant has food from every part of Africa to ensure that every African who visits the eatery has their cravings fulfilled.

"In Calabash, we cater to all Africans and our friends. We have food from each and every region from East, West, South and Central Africa. This means whoever comes through this door will always have something to relate to as an African or a friend of Africans," she said.

Larry praised her, saying he felt seen as an African as he sampled various foods such as mukimo, jollof rice, grilled meat made in the Ghanaian way and other sumptuous cuisines.
