On Sunday, May 12, the controversial gospel singer was ordained as a pastor at Proposed Priesthood Fellowship Church by Bishop JJ in a church service before hundreds of faithful.

Mary sobbed uncontrollably as she was being anointed with oil and was seen wiping tears with a white handkerchief as the man of the cloth washed her legs.

At some point, she was overpowered by the Holy Spirit and fell as preachers prayed for her. Later, she was given a chance to speak, and while addressing the congregation, she vowed to serve the Lord diligently.

During the ordination process, Mary's three adorable daughters and her parents were present.

The three girls wore black and white knee-length dresses and even addressed family and friends who attended their mother's after-party event.

CS Moses Kuria and philanthropist Karangu Muraya were among the people who graced Mary's after-party event.

The newly ordained pastor posed for photos with her kids and Kuria and shared them on social media.

"Hon CS Moses Kuria. May the Good Lord bless you. Me and my Family we are Happy," she wrote.

Mary also shared photos of her and her kids, reminding them how far they had come.

"My kids there is a God of your mother. We have come from far, and do not ever change from the God I have shown you. Even when I die, you will be left with the God of your mother and the God of Israel. I see you, I see God," she penned.
