Judith complains about mistreatment

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Josephine said her dear sister Judith Gatwiri Julius left Kenya for Lebanon on March 10, 2023, and they had been in good communication since then.

Josephine said that things, however, started changing when their sister started complaining about her work conditions.

"She started complaining about her boss, and if things didn't improve, she would leave the house and search for another job," said a scared Josephine.

Meru family told Judith may be in jail

"On March 6, 2024, Judith stopped communicating with the family and went offline. We don't know if she managed to leave the house or was killed as alleged by a number that has been communicating with us," she added.

According to the person who texted, Judith was arrested and thrown in jail. She did not know whether the young woman would be released within a year or two years.

"That was my sister's friend and that is the last lead and it went dead," said Judith.
"Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the agency that took her to Lebanon; she was just taken by a person identified as Yusuf, who is the owner of the agency. It is near the parliament where money is exchanged (exchange bureau)," added the distressed woman.
