Miguna Miguna Explains Why He Blocks People On X: "They Lack Vision"

Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna is in the country. Known for his intellectual engagement on X, he does not take lesser arguments on his platform.

During an interview on Monday, May 6, Miguna explained why he blocks X users on his timeline.

Why Miguna Miguna block his followers

According to him, engaging with someone who has no facts or ideas is helping him further his insults toward him.

"People who are interested in discussing ideas, interrogating my ideas, or sharing ideas come and disrupt. Engaging such a person is an insult. Anytime I see negativity and lack of ideas I block," he explained.

A while back, Miguna claimed that his candid truth is the reason why he gets blocked by politicians including Azimio One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga and former president Uhuru Kenyatta.

" I have not blocked anyone. Ruto blocked me. Raila blocked me. I block those who come to my handle to abuse me. I simply speak my mind uncompromisingly," Miguna said.

When Miguna will unblock his followers

Miguna further stated under which circumstances he would unblock his followers.

According to him, anyone holding public office should not block people insulting them, as they are a public entity.

"If you hold public office, your account is public. People who are in public office should not block anyone even when they are insulted. If I hold public office I will unblock everybody, for now I'm a private citizen. I don't have to tolerate insults," he clarified.

Why President William Ruto blocked Miguna

President William Ruto in 2018 blocked the former Raila's aide. Ruto said he could not condone negativity and attack on his family.

He accused Miguna of failing to distinguish between him, the politician, and the family man.

Miguna has rained insults on William Ruto for misusing the taxes paid by Kenyans.
