Academy help Esther with exams

In a TikTok clip shared by the African Debate Academy, a student identified as Esther is seen at Lira School, Zanzibar, talking about her experience as a debater.

When asked about how she has benefited from the debate experience, young Esther said that the skills she learned in school helped her pass exams once.

"One of the motions came in our exams so I applied the research I used for another topic and passed the exams," said Esther.

Her schoolmate also shared that the competition has nurtured them as public speakers and exposed them to the culture of other countries.

"It is not about the eloquence, trophies or winning but about rhetoric to reality," said the students.
