Mombasa - A family in the Mcheleni area of Changamwe is grieving the loss of their daughter after a tragic incident stemming from a dispute between her parents.

The 24-year-old, deeply concerned about her family's well-being, couldn't bear witnessing her parents physically fight.

Why did the Mombasa lady intervene?

To restore peace, she bravely intervened, only to become the target of her father's aggression.

According to Citizen Digital, the father repeatedly stabbed his daughter in the stomach and chest during the incident on Saturday, June 1.

Alerted by the commotion, neighbours rushed to the scene and promptly transported her to Portreitz Hospital.

Due to the severity of her injuries, she was later transferred to Coast General Hospital, but sadly, she didn't survive the ordeal.

In response, the authorities have launched an investigation into the father's actions and are actively searching for him, as he fled the scene immediately after the incident.

Kisii woman allegedly stabs husband to death

In another story, a 22-year-old woman allegedly stabbed her husband to death in Kisii county.

The 28-year-old deceased victim had just returned from work when they both engaged in an altercation that eventually led to his sudden demise.

Preliminary reports indicated that the woman stabbed him in the chest using a kitchen knife.

The victim scrawled in pain and opened their door. Unfortunately, despite leaving the crime scene, he succumbed to the injuries a few metres from the homestead.

The woman has been arrested and taken in for interrogation.
