Mukami Mwaura has taken to social media to address the curious stares and judgment she faces for her choice of vehicle – a Probox.

In a candid post on her Facebook page, Mwaura unapologetically proclaimed her affection for her Probox and shed light on the misconceptions surrounding its ownership.

Sharing an anecdote about a recent encounter with a friend who expressed surprise at her mode of transport, Mwaura seized the opportunity to advocate for the merits of the Probox.

She affectionately referred to it as the "best," highlighting its versatility as a hybrid between a lorry and a pickup truck.

"Hii ni lorry na pick up in one," Mwaura exclaimed.

Despite the raised eyebrows and scepticism she encounters, especially from urban dwellers, Mwaura remains steadfast in her appreciation for the Probox's reliability and performance.

Mukami warns other motorists

Asserting her competence behind the wheel, Mwaura humorously warned other motorists in Nairobi to give her way, joking that she wouldn't hesitate to assert her dominance on the road.

Her message conveyed a sense of pride and defiance, challenging societal norms and expectations.

Further speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Mukami noted that she has been driving the Probox since 2020.

"Most memorable moment was going to shaggz with the kids and putting a mattress huko for them to play and sleep," she recounted.

She also revealed that she used the Probox to tour Busia county.

Mukami talks about the reality of motherhood

In a previous story, Mukami expressed her experience with motherhood, saying that it was not all glossy as the world makes it seem.

According to her, everyone paints the picture of a child bringing lots of love, happiness, and cute parenting photos, but it is not always so.

She added that no one hardly talks about the difficult parts like exhaustion, frustration, loneliness, and even depression.

Mukami said that the most challenging part of motherhood is the never-ending state of mummy guilt.
