Viral Mzungu man, identified as Isaiah, popularly known as Wajumbe Records has warmed hearts with his inspiring life story.

Why Wajumbe Records relocated to Kenya

Isaiah, a firstborn in a family of eight, revealed he left the US with his parents and siblings in 2012 to do missionary work in Kenya.

"We lived in Kiminini near Kitale for several years and when some of the family members returned to America, the rest of us who remained here, we moved to Moi's Bridge," he said.

The 24-year-old Mzungu man, who always cracks up netizens with his Luhya accent, said he and his siblings were homeschooled and sat for exams, which they passed with flying colours.

"Nilimaliza kusoma nikiwa na miaka 16. Nilifanya GED exams Nairobi na nilipita vizuri (I completed my studies at the age of 16. I took the GED exams in Nairobi and passed well)," he explained.

How Mzungu man met Kenyan wife

Isaiah revealed he used to go to Uganda for missions with his wife's brother before they fell in love.

"He took me to his home, and I met his family. I kept visiting but didn't show I had interest in his sister," he shared.

The Mzungu man, who has always impressed Kenyans with his fluent Kiswahili, said he was friends with his now wife for 2-3 years without telling her how he felt about her.

"I carefully examined to see if she was a good girl I can be with or if she just wanted to marry me because I am white. I wanted someone who would truly love me," he said.

He continued:

"I carefully examined her to see if she was a good girl I could stay with, and after investigating for a long time, I decided she was the right one. I spoke to my parents, they spoke to her family, and I spoke to her, and we agreed. I paid the dowry and took her. We went to church for an overnight service and we started living together," he narrated.

Isaiah said he then ventured into music and even went to fast at Mt Elgon for a week with his father and it is after that, he started singing.

Elsewhere, Carey Joy, a mzungu missionary living in Bungoma, shared a video helping her husband, Wanyonyi, build a house using mud, but a section of netizens were unimpressed.

The lovebirds, together with their two adorable kids, could be seen carrying mud and using it to build a small house, which Carey revealed was their newest ministry project.

The video elicited mixed reactions, with some netizens claiming the Mzungu was suffering in marriage, but she denied it.
