Aseno went above and beyond to honour her beloved father-in-law, ensuring that his final journey was nothing short of spectacular.

Lavish fuel guzzlers lined up to escort Otung’ to his resting place, creating an opulent and dignified procession.

As mourners arrived, they were greeted by a red carpet spread out along the path leading to the funeral site. The rich crimson hue symbolised both respect and celebration.

The warmth of the red chairs provided a comfortable seating arrangement for guests, inviting them to share memories and stories of Otung’.

The spotless white tents stood tall, their canvas billowing gently in the breeze. But it was the flowers that truly stole the show.

Aseno had meticulously rooted vibrant blooms onto the tent poles, creating a living tapestry of colours.

Shades of red, purple and white intertwined, forming a delicate cascade of petals. Each flower seemed to whisper, “Rest in Peace, Baba.”

Within the tents, a flashy dining set awaited the mourners. Tables adorned with crisp white linens held elegant place settings.

Aseno’s attention to detail extended even to the dining experience, ensuring that every aspect reflected love and reverence.

At the heart of the gathering stood a fashionable dias. Draped in rich fabrics, it served as the focal point for speeches and tributes.

Aseno had adorned it with fresh flowers.

Company offers people chance to be buried alive

Separately, a company offered its customers a deal to die for.

The company gave its customers an opportunity to participate in their funerals actively.

It will cost a willing client KSh 7 million to experience being buried alive in a venture the company said helps people deal with their fears.
