In a separate story, TUKO.co.ke reported David Ouma became a street boy in Kisumu at five and was raised in a children's home, which offered him refuge and a chance at a new life.

He is now a 20-year-old second-year student at Maseno University and has embarked on a search for his roots that reads like a script from a drama.

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Ouma explained that he couldn't remember much since he was still too young when the separation happened.
