When Jane Nyambura's daughter returned from working in Qatar, even before her contract lapsed, she noticed that her daughter was behaving strangely.

Nyambura takes daughter to Mathari mental

After learning that her daughter had developed a mental illness, Nyambura took her to Mathari Mental Hospital, where she was seen by a doctor and released with the medicine she should have been taking.

However, what Nyambura did not know was that her daughter's case was severe to the point when they returned home, she overdosed on the medicine she had been given at the facility.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Nyambura said that the facility's medics were also concerned about the girl's health, so one of the medics asked Nyumbura to take her daughter to pray.

"Aliniambia nimpeleke catholic aka ombewe," recounted Nyambura.

A friend who had accompanied her advised otherwise, saying they should take the daughter to an Akorino church.

However, the taxi driver who was driving them to the church advised her otherwise to take her to Mama Lucy Hospital instead.

Why did Nyambura take her daughter to Uganda?

There, she received first aid before being released after showing signs of improvement and later taken back to Mathari Mental for evaluation.

Not content with her daughter's improvement, Nyambura decided to take her daughter to Uganda to seek healing from a prominent prophet.

While waiting to see the man of God, Nyambura's daughter attempted to escape, claiming to have gone to the church twice, with security guards returning her every time.

The mother and daughter eventually got to see the prophet, who immediately picked that his younger daughter had Down syndrome and her eldest daughter had a mental illness.

Sympathising with her condition, the man of God asked she be given back all the money she had spent while waiting to see him before he released her to return home.

Kakamega lady who worked in Saudi says mum wasted her money

In a separate story, TUKO.co.ke reported a heartbroken young lady opened up about the agony her family members caused her.

Annlence Musimbi, whose sister mistreated her kids and even snatched her baby daddy while she was away, mercilessly betrayed her sister.

Musimbi, who went to Saudi Arabia for greener pastures, had left her kids in her friend's hands.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, the single mum said her sister took custody of the kids after reporting Musimbi's friend to the chief.

"Since she (Musimbi's sister) cared for my kids, I sent her money for upkeep and school fees. I knew my mother could not care for them, and the kids were somehow better off with my sister," she narrated.
