A Kenyan dad who witnessed his son's graduation during the Kenya Defence Forces pass-out parade has moved netizens after pictures of him shedding tears of joy emerged online.

President William Ruto presided over the ceremony on Wednesday, May 15, and many parents attended the ceremony held in Uasin Gishu to witness the momentous occasion as their sons become soldiers.

In moving pictures shared on TikTok, one of the graduates' father was overwhelmed with joy during the ceremony.

While posing for photos with the young soldier, the excited dad was captured trying to wipe off some tears as he witnessed his son's military commission.

The heartwarming snaps have since moved Kenyans on social media, with many congratulating the young KDF soldier on making his dad proud.
