Why Kenyans slammed Ezekiel Machogu

Kenyans have demanded an apology from Machogu for postponing the school opening date at night.

Earlier, Deputy President Rigathi had, however, insisted that schools would reopen as scheduled, adding that the government would offer shelter to victims of floods hosted by schools in Nairobi.

However, in his press statement, Machogu said the reports from the field showed many schools had been affected by the ongoing heavy rains and the government was not ready to risk the lives of learners.
