The chopper crash on April 18 left many families across Kenya mourning their loved ones.

A young family was affected by the death of Sergeant Cliphonce Omondi, who perished in the helicopter crash that claimed ten lives.

Tabitha Akinyi, the wife of the late soldier, has been sharing videos of her late lover online with their young son.

"My love why?" she wrote in the video below with collaged photos of the soldier.

In another video, Akinyi lay on her bed with tears and a collaged video of her family, wondering why it had to be her husband.

The teary woman wrote:
