An amusing scene unfolded at a Kenyan high school when students witnessed their female teacher arriving at school on a boda boda.

A video capturing the students' reactions has quickly gained attention on TikTok.

The video, posted by TikTok user @mwalimu_nyakawhat, shows the boys gathered around as the teacher prepared to leave the school in the evening on the boda boda.

"How the students react when I ride in their presence. It's the Kinyambi for me," the caption read.

Students eagerly watch their teacher

In the video, the students are seen eagerly watching their teacher, intrigued by her choice of transportation.

Their curiosity turns to excitement as they tease her, asking her to make the boda boda produce roaring sounds.

The teacher, maintaining a cheerful demeanour, engages with the students before riding off, much to their delight.

The teacher at Kenya High School further revealed to TUKO.co.ke that this was not the first time she had been riding in front of the students, but they always got amused when she did so.

" I always ride to school on the bike, and no, this was not the first time they saw me doing so. They enjoy it and always make fun of it," the teacher told TUKO.co.ke.

Babushka leaves boda boda rider kneeling with gratitude

In a separate story, a video of Babushka extending a special gesture for a boda boda rider won the internet, moving many into tears.

The content creator shared the video via TikTok and depicted him gifting the rider five litres of fuel.

The man unknowingly stopped by the roadside to pick up Babushka for a ride but instead got the shock of his life when the popular TikToker offered the fuel instead.

Touched by the kind gesture, the rider got down on his knees to pray by the muddy roadside next to his motorcycle.

The gesture moved social media users, who reacted by saying Babushka was a godsend given the tough economic times that have hit most Kenyans.
