Who Will Shine Brightest?: TUKO.co.ke Entertainment Awards Returns For Dazzling Second Edition

• From actors and musicians to influencers and fashion icons, this edition will have more nominees and categories to include more of Kenya's outstanding talents

The 2nd Edition of TUKO.co.ke Entertainment Awards 2024 has officially launched.

To better include the diversity of the Kenyan entertainment scene, we have increased the number of categories and the number of nominees in each of them.

The nominees will be selected by an independent jury made up of different entertainment industry leaders. However, our readers will determine the winners by voting for their favourite finalists in each category.

Meet the Jury of TUKO.co.ke Entertainment Awards 2024

1. Silva Kido:

One of Kenya's foremost entertainment reporters and a prominent radio presenter, Silva Kido brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, with a deep understanding of the industry's inner workings.

2. Peter Kawa:

A veteran actor and respected talent manager, Peter Kawa has left an indelible mark on Kenya's film and entertainment scene. His keen eye for talent and industry insights make him a valuable addition to the jury.

3. Jackie Nyaminde:

Renowned for her iconic role as Wilbroda on the hit TV show Papa Shirandula, Jackie Nyaminde is a versatile actress and accomplished radio presenter. Her extensive experience in both television and radio adds invaluable perspective to the jury.

4. DJ Redbone:

Widely regarded as one of Kenya's top female DJs, DJ Redbone is known for her exceptional skills on the decks and her ability to seamlessly blend old-school classics with contemporary hits. Her expertise in the music scene brings a unique perspective to the jury.

5. Victor Otengo:

As the Head of Entertainment at TUKO.co.ke, Victor Otengo brings over six years of experience in the entertainment industry to the jury panel. His deep understanding of the Kenyan entertainment landscape ensures a comprehensive evaluation of nominees.

6. William Osoro:

With extensive experience in both entertainment and business journalism, William Osoro, the Senior Special Formats Editor at TUKO.co.ke, has interviewed some of the biggest names in the industry. His seasoned perspective adds valuable insight to the jury deliberations.
