This was after the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) passout parade at the Defence Forces Recruits Training School in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu.

The president's stately home was presented in two distinct parts.

It's a lofty structure featuring glass elements and a high concrete wall.

The residence is in the final stages of construction, and painting is expected to be part of the finishing touches.

Netizens react to video showing William Ruto's home

@bungomaduke:

"Benefits of working hard. This man inspires me daily."

@E_Wangai:

"The interesting thing about such huge houses is that the ego of the owner is shortlived; in a few years, it will just be a structure with barely anyone living in it."

@ItsJemoh

"He's already a billionaire!"

@KarasingaG

"Sometimes it is a lie to just accumulate too much and this has been sold to us from generation to generation. Unless it's an investment and it's getting him some money, he will even rarely sleep there. Accumulating so much in assets is not the real meaning of living a life."

@ItsKyalo:

"Reminds me of Mobutu’s Gbadolite palatial residence (now in ruins). Hata hizi ni chakula za mchwa tu."
