What did Citizen TV crew say to Rubadiri?

The radio, TV and entertainment personalities congratulated Rubadiri after she joined CNN as a co-host for its multiplatform series, Connecting Africa.

Rubadiri joined CNN this week from Citizen TV, where she served as the station's senior anchor and reporter for six years.

"New chapter," Rubadiri captioned a photo of herself posing in CNN's Connecting Africa studio.

According to CNN, Rubadiri is a valued addition to the Connecting Africa team in its quest to "tell the stories of emerging and expanding businesses across Africa and explore the impacts of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement".

Rubadiri is one of Kenya's top TV anchors

The 2020 BBC World News Komla Dumor Award winner previously worked at NTV with Madowo, with whom she has reunited at CNN.

Madowo serves as CNN International Correspondent and hosts the African Voices Changemakers and Playmakers series and he celebrated her move.

Rubadiri holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University in Philadelphia, USA.
