He is known for his encyclopedic knowledge with regards to car parts and vehicle restoration. In 2010, he began working on the production of the pilot episode of a series that followed his shop as they restored a 1971 Plymouth Barrucuda.

The car had changed hands multiple times, and had gone through various repairs, some extensive, some merely cosmetic. The owner of the vehicle asked Mark Worman to restore it to its original glory.
