TikTok influencer Ajib Gathoni has spoken about making money through the platform.
How much does TikTok live earn?
The dancer appeared on the Mic Cheque podcast where she spoke of the earnings during live sessions.
Gathoni said she went live on the video platform once during her birthday in 2022 and has not done another since.

“In a span of three minutes, I got KSh 210,000,” she said.
The interviewers wondered why she never bothered to go live again, given the good earnings.
"Sometimes it gets exhausting, and it comes across as you are begging for money. You have to keep it entertaining,” she said.
The entertainer also delved into her struggles with adenomyosis.
According to Mayo Clinic, it occurs when the tissue that normally lines the uterus (endometrial tissue) grows into the muscular wall of the uterus.
“I was diagnosed with the condition. Okay, this is not harmful per se, but it causes heavy and prolonged menstrual bleeding and severe cramping,” she said.
Gathoni said that she is undergoing treatment for this condition, although she is still experiencing pain.
"So, for starters, I was prescribed medicine to take before and during my menstrual days. My next appointment is in October, and I need to return with feedback.”
Why did TikToker Belinda scold woman?
In other news, TikToker Belinda, married to an older Mzungu man, went live on TikTok, and a woman who claimed to be a single mother and a graduate begged her for money, claiming her children were dying of hunger.
Belinda wondered why the woman mentioned that she was a graduate, yet she did not complete her education.
The TikToker scolded the woman, asking her to take the kids to their father.
She also told off people camping on her social accounts begging for money.
Belinda also said that she cannot date African men, claiming they are unromantic.
