Kevin Tembo, a young musician studying in Australia, has gained recognition not only for his music but also for his charitable work in his home community.

Known for his resemblance to singer Bahati, Tembo has been actively supporting his village in Neibeki, Uasin Gishu county, through his foundation.

Over the weekend, Tembo organised a tournament that attracted a significant crowd despite his being abroad.

How did Kevin Tembo organise event from Australia?

His dedicated team on the ground ensured the event ran smoothly. Four teams participated, and the winners received rewards.

Tembo's motivation stems from his desire to give back and help young people grow.

"I started this foundation to empower young people and also to give back to my community. My dream is to change my village. We want change. I'm using the little resources I have at the moment, but with more blessings, I hope to expand," he said.

In a previous initiative, Tembo donated umbrellas and reflector jackets to boda boda riders, an effort that has been well-received by the community.

Encouraged by the positive feedback, he is planning an even bigger event in December and is open to partnerships to amplify the impact of his work.

"We began by donating reflector jackets and umbrellas, and I'm encouraged by the progress. We're planning another event in December and are open to partnerships to create more impact," Tembo shared.

He also invited anyone interested in supporting his cause to reach out via social media.

Is Tembo looking for wife?

As we previously told you, Tembo said he was looking for a life partner who resembles Diana Marua, wife of his idol, singer Bahati.

Tembo said his wish is to emulate the singer’s family life and aspires to have a beautiful family like the Bahatis.

The young man has invited women who embody his desired characteristics to reach out to him through direct messages on his social media accounts.
